Obituary for Martha Sue Simonds
Private family service for Martha Simonds of West Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00pm, Saturday, April 11, 2020 in the chapel of Griffin Funeral Home with Renita Hemphill officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Choudrant, under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home.
Martha was born June 5, 1955 and passed from this life April 8, 2020 at the age of 64.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Cecil P. Simons and Dorothy E. Simons; uncles, Dub Bonnett, Willie Bonnett, & Thom Bonnett, and cousin Herman Bonnett.
Those left to cherish her memories include her son, Wayne Simons; daughter, Tina Hemphill Lofton and husband Todd; five grandchildren, Jesse Simons and wife Destiny, Alex Simons, Kayla H. Bryan and husband Matthew Bryan, Kalina Poe, and Chassidy Taylor; seven great-grandchildren, Alice, Zane, Cameron, Vinny, Ava, Gabe, and Aiden; also survived by a host of extended family and friends.
Pallbearers serving include, Todd Lofton, Matthew Bryan, Jesse Simons, Alex Simons, and Jon Anderson.
