Obituary for Martha Hemphill Clark
Graveside service for Martha Hemphill Clark of West Monroe, LA will be held at 10:00am, Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Calhoun, under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home.
Visitation will be 5:00pm till 8:00pm, Monday, November 2, 2020 at Griffin Funeral Home, 911 Warren Drive, West Monroe.
Martha was born April 18, 1949 and passed from this life October 31, 2020 at the age of 71.
She was a geriatric LPN for over 30 years and absolutely loved taking care of her “old folks”. She devoured romance books and loved to have sleepovers and watch movies with her granddaughters.
Martha is preceded in death by her son, Wayne Godbout; parents, Melvin and Mary Matthews and her husband Lesley Clark.
Those left to cherish her memories include her two daughters, Robin Montfort and husband Danny, and Sabrina Webb and Tim; grandchildren, Brittany Hollis(Drew), Lauren Bennett (Zach), Melissa Holton (Rannon), Zakk Spurlock (Samantha), Adam Spurlock, Madison Felts, Mercedes Webb, and Mallory Montfort. Plus six great grandchildren and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and a host of extended family and friends.
Heaven has gained a wonderful mother, grandmother, and friend. She will be greatly missed on this earth.
