A celebration of life service for Mrs. Marjorie Tremaine, 87, of Monroe, will be held on Sunday, January 19, 2020 in the sanctuary of Lea Joyner United Methodist Church at 2:00 PM, with Rev. Betty and Bro. Ben officiating.
Mrs. Tremaine, a salesclerk, was born on April 19, 1932 to the union of Ernest Pleasant Crawford and Ella Rae Bettis Crawford, and passed from this life on January 15, 2020. She was a member of Lea Joyner United Methodist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Tremaine, Jr; one sister; and son-in-law, Johnny Sims
Survivors left to cherish her memory are her children, Debra T. Sims, and David Tremaine and wife Nancy, and John E. Tremaine all of Monroe, LA; and one brother, Bill Crawford of Carlinville, IL. She also leaves behind 3 grandchildren, Michael Tremaine of Kansas City, MO, Cheryl Lynn Tremaine Mouser of Texas, and Jeb D. Slade of Monroe, LA; and 5 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members.
