Obituary for Marion Glynn Chappell
Funeral services for Marion Glynn Woolsey Chappell will be held at 10:00am Tuesday on January 31, 2023. Family will receive friends for visitation from 9:00am until time of service, all at Griffin Funeral Home West Monroe, LA
Marion Glynn Woolsey Chappell was born Sept. 25, 1959 and passed peacefully from this earth on Saturday, Jan. 28, 2023 at the age of 63.
Marion was the daughter of Robert and Bobbie Woolsey. She was raised in West Monroe, La where she met her husband of 45 years, Keith Chappell with whom she shared two sons, Michael and Christopher. Marion loved her family fiercely and never let anyone leave without letting them know she loved them with her whole heart. Mary’s love and kindness extended beyond family and friends, to her animals. She never met an animal she didn’t like, and was notorious for adopting stray cats, not to mention a squirrel or two.
Those left to cherish her memories are her husband, Keith, children, Michael and wife Heather, Christopher and wife Kim, grandchildren, Madison, Dylan, Zach, Casey, Cassey, Riley, and Cayden. She is also survived by her sisters, Darla Cash, Carolyn Jackson, Barbara Jeselink, and brother, Robert Woolsey, Jr. and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Marion is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Bobbie Woolsey, mother-in-law, Eva Chappell, and grandson Casey Chappell.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Humane Society Adoption Center of Monroe or your local animal shelter.
