Clyde Kelley officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Calhoun, LA under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5:00pm until 8:00pm Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at the funeral home.

Margaret was born June 10, 1948 in Roseboro, NC and passed from this life on June 16, 2019 in Shreveport, LA at the age of 71. She was a devoted member of Claiborne Assembly of God for over 40 years. She loved her family, her church, and most of all, her Lord and Savior with everything in her. Margaret was never one to say anything hateful or negative about anyone and would not participate in gossip. Through the years she always supported her children and her grandchildren in all of their activities. She taught her daughters how to be unselfish, “God-fearing” women and good mothers to their children. She was a huge Elvis Presley fan and was the greatest cook. She enjoyed cooking for her family, doing yard work, taking naps and her Snicker bar midnight snacks. She also loved her animals through the years and was known to take them everywhere she went. Margaret was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be greatly missed.

She is preceded in death by her first husband of 39 years, Carl Denver “Bud” Hailey; four brothers, Winston Williams, Willie Williams, Jr., Raymond Williams and Esby Williams; and two sisters, Shirley Ormeland and Evaline Ray.

Those left to cherish her memories are her husband, Edward E. Osbon of West Monroe; her children, Marilyn Stoltz and husband, Scott of Norman, OK and Sherry Helms and husband, Brandon of Natchitoches; her step-children, Jeared Osbon, Ryan Osbon and wife, Caron, and Amber Duty; her brother, James Arnold Williams of Beaver Dam, NC; five grandchildren, Hailey Odell of Noble, OK, Brittney Cella and husband, Ryan and Zachary Odell of Norman, OK, and Haydon Helms and Holtz Helms, both of Natchitoches; one great-grandchild, Alexander Cella; step-grandchildren, Emma, Jesslyn, Noah, Railynn, Emory and Brealle; her fur babies, “Ziggy” and “Prissy”; also survived by a host of extended family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Zachary Odell, Haydon Helms, Jared Osbon, Ryan Osbon, Scott Stoltz and Brandon Helms. Honorary pallbearers will be Holtz Helms and Alexander Cella.

Because Margaret didn’t like the way “Goodbye” sounded, she always ended her conversations with friends and loved ones with “Night Night”, no matter what time of day it was. So this is not goodbye, this is “night night” and we will see you in the morning.
