Graveside service for Mrs. Lovey Rebecca Hammett of West Monroe, LA will be held at 10:00am, Saturday, July 11, 2020 at the Serenity Gardens open air mausoleum.

Mrs. Lovey was born October 31, 1955 and passed from this life on July 4, 2020 at the age of 64.

She was a life-long member at Souls Harbor United Pentecostal Church and loved music.

She is preceded in death by her father, Eursel Carter, Sr. and mother, Marjorie Carter; sister, Diwana Dianne Lisotta.

Those left to cherish her memories include her husband of 14 years, Tyrone Hammett; brother, Eusel Carter, Jr.; nephew, Jeffery Glenn Carter and wife Jessie; great niece Kaitlyn Carter; great nephews, Braylon, Joseph, and Jeremiah; also survived by a host of extended family and friends.

Tyrone, JR and all of Lovey’s family I am deeply sorry to hear of Lovey’s passing please accept my heartfelt condolences Lovey and I spoke almost daily She dearly loved you all Such a kind person she will forever live on in my heart and in all whose lives she touched. I worked with Lovey at DCFS. She was a hard worker and always had a smile on her face, eager to do whatever you asked. I am praying for your family in this loss.

I retired from Brookshire's in west monroe about 5 years ago and I just wanted the family to know she was so friendly to me and upbeat every time I saw her. I looked forward to every time we encountered each other. She was a precious lady (Individual). I will never forget Mrs. Lovey!
