Obituary for Linda Sue Callaway
Funeral service celebrating the life of Linda Sue Beebe Callaway of Downsville, LA will be held at 7:00pm, Thursday, May 20, 2021 at Souls Harbor United Pentecostal Church with Rev. Jimmy Masters and Pastor Julien Ryder officiating. Family will receive friends for visitation from 5:00pm until time of service at the church. Interment will follow Friday, May 21, 2021 at Wilhite Cemetery, Downsville, under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home.
Linda was born May 8, 1946 and passed from this life May 17, 2021 at the age of 75. She was a member of Souls Harbor United Pentecostal Church since 1963 serving in various ministries such as teaching Sunday School, singing, church secretary, and was over the ladies ministry for 30 years.
Everyone was welcome at her home where she loved spending time with her family and friends.
She is preceded in death by parents, William "Willie" David Beebe and Lois Vera Cupples Beebe.
Those left to cherish her memory includes her husband, William Lawson Callaway; son, David Callaway and wife Lisa; daughter, DeAnn Powell and husband Rodney; sister, Barbara Anne Beebe Colby; grandchildren, Luke Powell and wife Ana, Callie Davis and husband Justin, Seth Powell, and Jessi Callaway; great granddaughter, Bella SueAnn Davis; also survived by a host of extended family and friends. Pallbearers include Luke Powell, Seth Powell, Justin Davis, Brandon Meyers, Hubert Reeves, Joel Vallery, and John Fowler.
