Obituary for Linda Sue Audirsch
Graveside service for Linda Sue Audirsch of Ruston, LA will be held at 10:00am, June 6, 2020 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Calhoun with Todd Hibbard officiating. Services are under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home.
She was born November 14,1947 in St. Joesph, LA and passed away May 29, 2020, in Ruston, LA after an extended illness.
Linda was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker who loved her grandchildren and great grandson dearly. She had many careers in her lifetime, working for South Central Bell, owning a beauty salon and eventually retiring as data entry operator. Her main hobbies were crocheting, reading and spending time with her grandchildren. She loved to travel especially to Tennessee to see her great grandson.
She is proceeded in death by her loving husband, Thomas Lynn Audirsch, parents Robert and Susie Rushing, and brother, Jerry Rushing.
She is survived by her children: Matthew Audirsch and his wife Michelle of Mulberry, TN and Amanda Davis and her husband John of Choudrant, LA, along with four grand-children: Griffin Audirsch, Garrett Audirsch, Elizabeth Davis and Hagen Davis; one great grandchild Kyler Audirsch; sister, Janet Henderson; brothers, Robert Rushing and Dale Rushing along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers: Matthew Audirsch, John Davis, Griffin Audirsch, Garrett Audirsch, Brigg Henderson and Chester Littleton.
The family would like to thank the doctors and nursing staff at Northern Louisiana Medical Center and the staff of Alpine Nursing Home for providing exceptional care to Linda and her family during this time and going above and beyond the requirements of their job to support her and the family.
