Obituary for Linda Jean Bruce (Johnson)
Graveside service for Linda Jean Bruce. of West Monroe, LA will be held at 2:30pm, Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Calhoun, with Pastor Jarod Hawthorne officiating, services are under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home, West Monroe.
Family will receive friends for visitation, 12:00pm until 2:00pm, Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at Griffin Funeral Home, 911 Warren Drive, West Monroe.
Linda was born January 6, 1947 and passed from this life February 4, 2021 at the age of 74.
She loved giving to the deaf community, cooking and spending time with family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her father, RL Johnson; loving husband of 54 years, John Bruce Sr.; brother, Ronnie Lynn Johnson.
Those left to cherish her memories include her son, John Ronald, Bruce Jr. and wife Dianne of Winnsboro, and daughter, Kathy Green and husband Troy of West Monroe; mother, Earline Johnson; sister, Patricia Collie and husband Terry of Calhoun, LA; seven grandchildren, Jayden Green, Brian Green, Jackson Green, Gabrielle George, Michaela St. Clair, Lauren Taylor, and Kasey Bruce; also survived by a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
