Leah Christine Curry was a woman of strength, beauty, wisdom and a wonderful personality. She imparted this wisdom and knowledge on her children and grandchildren who she loved unconditionally.
She was born to the late Joe Curry, Jr. and Audrey Mae Russell on February 14, 1930 in West Monroe, LA. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Jerusha Y. Jacobs. Leah Christine passed away from this life on February 11th at the age of 89 at her home in West Monroe after a brief illness.
Leah Christine leaves to cherish her memories Audrey C. Hester (daughter) and Andra C. Williams (son); three grandchildren: Julian Andre’ Eggins, Aubrey D. Pope-Hester (Kayla), Ja’mia M. McClendon (Chris); four great-grandchildren: Bailey Christine, Gloria Leah, Tyland Tyvae and Kyleigh Amor and numerous cousins, spiritual children and friends.
Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
