Funeral services celebrating the life of Lavell Daniel Herrington of Monroe, LA will be held at 11:00am, Friday, October 11, 2019 at Griffin Funeral Home, 911 Warren Drive, West Monroe with Woods Watson officiating.
Interment will follow at Cheniere Baptist Church Cemetery in West Monroe under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home.

Family will receive friends for visitation from 10am until time of service at the funeral home.
Lavell was born March 13, 1938 and passed from this life on October 8, 2019 at the age of 81.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Joyce Herrington, parents, Siblings, and grandson, Blake McIntyre.

Those left to cherish his memory include his sister, Mary Katherine Lee and husband Travis of Ocean Springs, MS; son, Marvin Edward Herrington and wife Annette of Kenner, LA; daughter, Connie Collins and husband Steve of Pearl MS; daughter, Patricia Taylor of West Monroe, LA; son, Roger Herrington and wife Melissa of West Monroe, LA; Also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of extended family and friends.
