Lander Taylor Haynes died peacefully in her sleep on the morning of April 8, 2020. Lovingly known as “Grandma” she was born July 8, 1928 in Newcastle South Shields, England. Lander married Louis Grey Haynes February 1, 1954.
Lander loved good food and going to the movies. She loved to laugh with family and friends. She especially loved spending time with her family at holiday gatherings. Lander enjoyed traveling; often going to see her daughters in Texas and Colorado.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Louis G Haynes; Mary Lander Taylor, her mother; and Forrest Taylor, her brother.
She leaves to cherish her memory, daughters, Louise Ramsa and husband Peter of Fort Worth, TX; Kate Wiley and husband George of West Monroe, LA; Elizabeth Secor and husband Dale of South Fork, CO; grandchildren, Rachel E. Raybourn, Candise Ramsa, Zachary Streeter and five great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Louisiana Baptist Children's Home in Monroe, LA and Quachita Parish Animal Shelter.
