A military memorial service for Mr. Kevin Armstrong, 53, of West Monroe is scheduled at Northeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery on December 13, 2019 at 1pm. A service in Texas will be held at a later date as well.
Kevin, a former IT Project Manager for Century Link and Air Force Veteran, was born on April 16, 1966 to Robert and Juanita Armstrong in Wichita Falls, TX. He passed from this life on November 16, 2019, in the comfort of his home in West Monroe, LA. He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Armstrong.
Kevin was a member of Life Church of West Monroe and the American Legion. He was a retired Major, serving in the Air Force for 20 years. He led the team that designed the software and computer systems for the F22 Fighter jet. He was stationed many places, but the place that was the most beloved by him was Germany. He loved the Dallas Cowboys and the Houston Astros.
Survivors left to cherish his memories include his wife, Cynthia Armstrong of West Monroe, LA; twins, Kylee Armstrong of West Monroe, LA, and Keith Armstrong of Houston, TX; daughter, Kyrstn Darlington and husband Tom George of Bergen, Norway; sons, Lucas and Corbett Snoe of San Angelo, TX; mother, Juanita Armstrong of Houston, TX; brothers, Chuck Armstrong and Geoff Armstrong of Houston, TX; and sister, Liz Nash of Utah.
