Obituary for Keith Edward Barnett
Memorial services for Keith Edward Barnett will be 12:00pm Saturday, December 10, 2022 in the chapel of Griffin Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA with Purvis H. Rodriguez. Visitation will be from 10:00am to 11:00am Saturday, December 10, 2022.
Mr. Keith Barnett was born December 28, 1957 and passed from this life on December 5, 2022, at the age of 64. He graduated West Monroe High School where he ran track and played various sports. One of the sports was boxing where he was a three time Golden Gloves Boxing Champion. He then attended college for a couple of years before he started working at different jobs. He found his main job at UPS and worked there for several years before he went to work for electrician, James Dean. He was always helping anyone out that was in need. He and his wife became foster parents then adoptive parents at the age of 56 and 62! He always had a hard time telling anyone no, especially his kids and grandkids!
He is preceded in death by; his parents, Laurine and MB Barnett and his two brothers, Glenn and Terry Bryan.
Those left to cherish his memories include his wife, K. Johnice Barnett; children, Chase Barnett, Keaton Barnett, and Danielle Barnett; grandchildren, Mya Barnett, Josiah Barnett, Whyatt Barnett, and Olivia Copeland; special sons, Daniel Palma, Ethan Copeland, and James Fletcher; special daughters, Macaila Paschal, Britteny Gordy, and Adrianna Ross; brother, Scott Barnett; sister, Karen Casey and husband Ken; brother Joe Phillips and wife Karen; Jeff Phillips and wife Shellbye; and various nieces and nephews.
