Obituary for Judy Kay Touchet
Memorial service celebrating the life of Mrs. Judy Kay Touchet will be held at 5pm, Tuesday, August 4, 2020 in the chapel of Griffin Funeral Home, 911 Warren Drive, West Monroe, LA with Brother Danny Chance officiating.
Family will receive friends for visitation, Tuesday, August 4, 2020, from 4pm until time of service.
Judy was born May 16, 1953 and passed from this life July 31, 2020 at the age of 67 at her home in Calhoun, Louisiana after an extended illness.
She loved to cook for her family, friends, and neighbors. She also enjoyed her time sipping coffee on her front porch with family and her special friend Ms. Kitty. Her two grandchildren were the light of her life.
Not only was she dedicated to her family, but she was also dedicated to her work. She retired after 21 years in the hospitality business.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Ola Mae Shell and James Alonzo Shell; sister, Janis Sonnier, and two brothers; Danny Shell, Jimmy Shell.
Those left to cherish her memories include her husband of 37 years, John Wayne Touchet ; son, David Touchet; daughter, Lauren Toney and husband Jerard; two grandchildren, Jonathan Toney and Rosalie Mae Toney, all from Calhoun; siblings, Linda Bullock, James H. Shell, Karen LeBlanc, and Steve Shell; also survived by a host of extended family and friends.
