Mrs. Cumpton was born May 3, 1954 in Monroe, LA and peacefully passed away at her home surrounded by her loved ones Friday, November 29, 2019 after a brief battle with cancer.
Judy, also known as “BB,” was a homemaker and enjoyed spending her days running errands for all of her “kids” and mother. She was a very loving and happy person. She always had the most contagious, biggest smile and dimples that would light up a dark room, you never seen her without a smile, she loved life, her family, and anyone she crossed paths with. She never met a stranger, was always doing for others, and always saw the best in everyone and everything. She had a strong love for cows and the color red. “BB” was very special and unique and will be terribly missed by many. Her favorite saying in hard times was “this will soon be a distant memory,” but you, BB, will NEVER be a distant memory.

She is preceded in death by her father, Harry Laverne Ramsey; grandparents, Harry and Lessie Ramsey and Ocie and Lois Towery; two sisters, Marsha Kay Ramsey and Gina Lillian Ramsey.

Survivors left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 43 years, Ronnie Cumpton of Monroe, LA; two daughters, Heather Cumpton of Monroe, LA; Ashley Norsworthy and husband Kris of Monroe, LA; two grandchildren that were her world, Matthew Norsworthy and Ryan Norsworthy both of Monroe, LA; mother, Evelyn Ramsey of Monroe, LA; two sisters, Janet Vittur; Shannon Plumley and husband Scott, special family members—Greg Plumley; Kristen Walker and husband Cody; their children, Macie, Bentley, Hadleigh, and Grayson; a host of family and friends all very dear to her, as well.

Pallbearers are as follows: Kris Norsworthy, Cody Walker, Greg Plumley, Brandon Vittur, Jordan Vittur, and Scott Plumley. Honorary pallbearer will be Carter Robinson.
