Joshua Daniel Stapleton was born in Columbia, LA on June 20, 1977, and passed from this life on June 25, 2022, at his residence in West Monroe. He loved football, especially the Saints, and liked to play video games. He was fascinated by history had a master’s degree in History and a minor degree in Latin.

He is preceded in death by his father, Carroll Gene Stapleton; grandparents, John and Fannie Stapleton; grandfather, Huey Hadley; grandmother, Alice Allen; aunt, Virginia Ledoux.

Those left to cherish his memory includes his brother, David Fifield of West Monroe, sister, Jennifer Preston and husband Glen of Port St. Lucy, FL; mother, Marilyn Hadley of West Monroe; niece, Brittny Bonawitz and husband Lance of Port St. Lucy, FL; nephews, Cody Madden, James Fifield, and Ethan Fifield of West Monroe; great nephew, Levi Bonawitz. He is also survived by an extended host of family of friends.
