Obituary for Joseph Wayne Clampit
Funeral service for Joseph Wayne Clampit of Choudrant, LA will be held at 4:00pm, Wednesday, January 22, 2020 in the chapel of Griffin Funeral Home, 911 Warren Drive, West Monroe, LA.
Family will receive friends for visitation 2pm until time of service at the funeral home.
Joseph loved football and playing a game of fantasy football, he enjoyed a good game of basketball with friends and family, he also looked forward to weekly card games. His pride and joy was his daughter Clara JoLee Stephens.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Harry Purser and Alice Stringer, and aunt, Melody Williams.
Those left to cherish his memories include his daughter, Clara JoLee Stephens; mother, Melinda Purser Johnston; step-father, Bobby Johnston; father, Randy Joe Clampit, and step-mother, LaJean Clampit; Papaw Pete and Mamaw Clyde; Marie Pesnell; brothers, Douglous Clampit, Michael Clampit and fiancé Amber Taylor; step-brothers, Josh Delancey and wife Adrianne, Jeremy Delancey and wife Ashley; step-sister, Danielle Hays and husband Jeremiah, brothers from another mother, Steven Turner, and sister from another mister, Diana, BJ Frost and wife Shannon, Bobby Bench, Clint Fontenot and family, and bonus mom, Georgette Banks; as well as aunts, Belinda, Dawn and Donna, and Leslie; Cousins, Shannon, and Marion, Jason, Lashay, Blake, Christy, also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of extended family and friends.
