Funeral services for Mr. Jose' Luis Hurst will be held at 10:00AM, Sunday, August 14, 2022, at Griffin Funeral Home in West Monroe located at 911 Warren Drive West Monroe, LA. Interment will follow at Hasley Cemetery on Arkansas Rd in West Monroe. Family will accept friends for visitation from 8:00AM until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Jose' was born on July 26, 1974, in Panama, and passed from this life on August 7, 2022, in West Monroe, LA at the early age of 48.
Mr. Jose was born July 26, 1974, and passed away on Sunday, August 7, 2022, at his residence in West Monroe, LA.
Survivors include his dad, James, and mother, Eloisa Hurst. His three sons, Luis, Nathan, and Matthew Hurst. His brother Manuel, and two sisters, Marla, and Elia.
Jose was born and grew up in Panama. He moved out of his parents’ house at an early age, and married Jeanette who he met in high school. Despite moving out at such a young age, he was determined to make things work especially since his firstborn son, Luis Hurst was on the way. He also ended up having two more boys, Nathan, and Matthew. He proved himself to be a wonderful and dedicated father, and although he and Jeanette separated, he remained an excellent dad to his children. He shall be remembered as a man who always put in the extra effort for his children. Although he has left his three children and family behind, he will always be in their hearts and minds for the rest of their lives.
