Graveside Services for Jewell Jones will be held Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at 11:00 at Hall Cemetery, Hwy 15, Rayville, LA with Pastor Jerry Byrnes, Officiating.
Jewel was a longtime member and worship leader at Prayer House of Jesus in West Monroe, LA. She played rhythm guitar and drums. In her early years, she was a member in a duet gospel group. She loved to spread the Gospel via music. She loved to travel and read as well.
Jewell was preceded in death by her husband, Jerrell Wade Jones; her father, Ode William Jarvis; mother, Laverne Murphy Jarvis; Brothers, Jimmy Beard, Leon Beard, Clifton Jarvis; Sisters, Patsy Byrnes and Joan Bellmore.
Jewell is survived by countless step-children; siblings, Carolyn Fatheree, Faye Ellis, David Jarvis and William Jarvis.
Jewel is survived by a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was loved by all and will be greatly missed.
