Graveside service for Jesse “Tony” Morehead Waldroup, Jr. of West Monroe, LA will be held at 11:00am, Saturday, December 26, 2020 at Serenity Gardens, West Monroe.
Services are under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home.
Jesse was born June17, 1945 and passed from this life December 24, 2020 at the age of 75.
Jesse enjoyed spending time riding his tractor working on his farm and spending time with his dog Goldie, he loved visiting with friends and family, Jesse was a member of Crossfire Church, he loved his wife, Lea dearly, she was the light of his life and enjoyed every moment with her.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jesse Sr. and Thelma Waldroup, siblings, Jeff and Linda.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Lea Jones Waldroup; three daughters, Wimberly Mills and husband Bobby of Arlington, TX, Wendy Waldroup of Midlothian, TX, and Kelly Hillert and husband Walden of Menard, TX; stepson, Ben Patterson of West Monroe, LA; sister, Jan Squyres of Denham Springs, LA; brother, Mike Waldroup of Eros, LA; two granddaughters, Haleigh Hillert and Heather Hillert; also survived by good friends and adopted family, Charles and Tammy Poole of West Monroe, LA; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and extended family and friends.
