Obituary for Jesse R Vela
A celebration of life for Mr. Jesse R. Vela of West Monroe, LA will be from 4:00pm until 7:00pm Saturday, June 22, 2019 at Griffin Funeral Home 911 Warren Dr. West Monroe.
Jesse was born October 6, 1971 in San Antonio, TX and passed from this life on June 11, 2019 in Shreveport, LA at the age of 47. Jesse could be described as “goofy”, crazy and wild and he lived life to the fullest. He loved to dance, and he loved mechanical things, especially taking them apart to see how they worked. He was dedicated to his family and was a very generous and giving person. He will be greatly missed.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jesse Flores Delao and Nativadad Vela DeLaO.
Survivors include his wife, Daisy Renea Vela; his children, Cameo Fonseca and husband Peter, III, Crystal Delao, and Jesse Delao, all of San Antonio, TX; his sisters, Sandra Vela and fiancé Randy Barber of West Monroe, Yvonne Winters and husband, Abel, Jr. of San Antonio, TX, and Patricia Velasquez and husband, Hector of San Antonio, TX; also survived by two grandsons and a host of extended family and friends.
