Obituary for Jerry Tippen
Funeral services for Lesley "Jerry" Tippen, retired Iron worker, Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 30 from 12 Noon till time of funeral at 2 PM at Griffin Funeral Home, West Monroe. Officiating will be Bill Schooley and Chase Green.
Jerry was born September 26, 1942, and passed from this world on June 28, 2020 at his mother's residence in West Monroe, LA.
Jerry is preceded in death by his father, Lesley Tippen and brother-in-law, Dewey Young, Numerous aunts and uncles, including his favorite uncle, Charles Ray Anding.
He is survived by his mother, Margie Anding Tippen, three sisters, Bettie Gail Young, Sharon Schooley, and Lisa Tippen Morris, all of West Monroe; eight nieces, three nephews, and numerous great nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Will Carroll, Andrew Brown, Neal Schooley, Kerry Morris, Anthony Ortega, and John "Pistol" Carter. Honorary pallbearers will be Troy Culp and Terry Causey.
