Obituary for Jerry Lee Collier
Graveside service for Mr. Jerry Lee Collier of West Monroe, LA will be held at 10:00am, Friday, August 7, 2020 at Crowville Masonic Cemetery in Crowville, under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home with Rev. Marion Collier and Rev. Jeff Luellen.
Jerry was born January 15, 1943 and passed from this life August 4, 2020 at the age of 77.
Jerry grew up in Crowville, LA and was a graduate of Crowville High School where he played in the band and then went to Winnsboro Young Vocational School where he studied electronics. In later years he worked in the construction industry in roads and highways. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. His greatest joy was raising his granddaughters.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Alton and Sarah Collier.
Those left to cherish his memories include wife, Brenda G. Collier; children, Danith Collier, Lee Collier; grand-daughters, Kaitlin Collier, Victoria Collier, Alyssa Warren; brother, Rev. Marion Collier, and sister, Julia Collier Earl; also survived by a host of extended family and friends.
