Funeral service celebrating the life of Jeffrey Glenn Knight, Sr. of Columbia, LA., will be held at 11:00am, Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at Welcome Home Baptist Church, Hebert, LA., Interment will follow with military honors at the Northeast LA Veterans Cemetery, Rayville, LA., under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home.
Family will receive friends for visitation 9:00am until time of service at the church.

Jeffrey retired from the United States Navy. He enjoyed duck hunting, farming cows, and most of all, spending time with his grandchildren.

Jeffrey was born December 20, 1957 and passed from this life September 22, 2022 at the age of 64.
He is preceded in death by his father, James Carlie Knight, Sr..

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Barbara Knight; mother, Mary Knight; sons, Jeffery Knight, Jr., Shawn Christopher Knight, step-son, Andy Gilbert, and Daniel Gilbert; siblings, James Carlie Knight, Jr., Debra Lee, and Suzanne Harrison; four grandchildren, Jason Atlas Knight, Zoey Gilbert, Gabe Gilbert, and Aiden Spillers.

Pallbearers include Willie Jones, Jordan West, Jimmy Cotton, John Creech, Frank Hendricks, Paul Burch, Sambo Duchesne, and Paul Vingiello.
