Obituary for Janice Elaine Spires
A Celebration of Life for Mrs. Janice Spires will be held at 2:00pm Saturday, February 6, 2021 in the Chapel of Griffin Funeral Home, 911 Warren Drive, West Monroe, LA.
Janice was born on November 23, 1955 and passed from this life on February 3, 2021 at the age of 65. Family will receive friends for visitation, 1pm until time of service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Spires is preceded in death by her parents Bill and Virginia Williamson; her brother Dale Williamson; and step-son Marcus Spires.
Those left to cherish her memories include her loving husband, Curtis Spires of West Monroe,LA; children, Christopher (Bonnie) Carr of Spring, TX and Heather Moss of West Monroe ,LA; step-son Chris Spires of West Monroe, LA and Step-daughter Sherry Wells of Choudrant, LA; sister Susie Crowe of West Monroe, LA and brother David Williamson of Washington; seven grandchildren, Isaiah Moss, Emma Carr, Dakota Spires, Taylor Spires, Tessa Williamson Spires, Nolan Spires, and Britton Thomas Spires, and a host of nieces and nephews and extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ouachita Parish Human Society.
