Graveside services for Mr. James Norman Martin of West Monroe, LA will be 2:00pm Sunday, March 10, 2019 at Serenity Gardens in West Monroe with Rev. James Gardner officiating. Interment will directly follow under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home West Monroe.
Mr. Martin was born August 17, 1942 in Crowville, LA and passed from this life on March 6, 2019 in West Monroe, LA at the age of 76. He enjoyed watching western movies and wrestling and especially loved fishing. He was a loving father, grandfather and brother and he will be greatly missed.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Sue Reeder Martin; his parents, M.J. and Vernessa Martin; and one sister, Lillian Laverne Martin.
Survivors include his son, David Martin of Longmont, CO; his grandson, Zachary Martin; two sisters, Lois M. Kapp and husband, Clyde and Linda Gale Martin Greer and husband, James all of West Monroe; one brother, John P. Martin of West Monroe; also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
