Funeral services for Mrs. Jackie Thomas of West Monroe, LA will be 2:00pm Wednesday, July 3, 2019 in the chapel of Griffin Funeral Home 911 Warren Dr. West Monroe. Interment will follow at Harris Cemetery near Crowville, LA under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5:00pm until 7:00pm Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Thomas was born January 4, 1958 in Monroe, LA and passed from this life on June 29, 2019 in Shreveport, LA at the age of 61. She enjoyed fishing and working in her yard, especially gardening. She was a beautiful person inside and out who loved her family with all her heart. She will be greatly missed.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Ed and Betty Crain.
Survivors include her husband of 44 years, Steve M. Thomas of West Monroe; her children, Steven Thomas, Mitchell Thomas and wife, Knika, and Anthony Thomas, all of West Monroe; two brothers, Ricky Crain and wife, Amy, and Tommy Crain and wife, Juanita, all of Grayson; three sisters, Debra Oliveaux and husband, Malcolm, Jeannie Crain, Melissa Sones and husband, Phillip, all of Grayson; five grandchildren, Lauren Thomas, Taylor Thomas, Olivia Thomas, Allie Thomas and Jessie Thomas; one great-granddaughter, McKinley Thomas; also survived by a host of extended family and friends.
