Funeral services for Mrs. Inez Mason Sanson of West Monroe, LA will be 2pm Saturday, June 8, 2019 at Utility Baptist Church in Jonesville, LA with Rev. Luther E. Sanson, Rev. Mike Russell and Rev. Elbert Lane Sanson officiating. Interment will follow at Bethel Methodist Cemetery in Deville under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home West Monroe. Visitation will be from 10:00am until time of service Saturday at the church.
Mrs. Sanson was born October 9, 1930 in Sicily Island, LA and passed from this life on June 3, 2019 in West Monroe, LA at the age of 88. She was a retired school teacher from Catahoula Parish.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Luther E. Sanson, Sr.; and one son, Clarence Larkin Sanson.
Survivors include her sons, Luther E. Sanson, Jr. and wife, Trudy and Marshall L. Sanson and wife, Thana; daughter-in-law, Bonnie Kauffman; grandchildren, Dr. Marshall Sanson, Chase Sanson, Carl D. Sanson, Wendy Fields and Amber Cage; one sister, Irene Sanson of Wildsville; one brother, Sam Mason of Enterprise; also survived by numerous great-grandchildren whom she loved dearly, and a host of extended family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Joe Paul Sanson, Dr. Marshall Sanson, Josh Sanson, Chase Sanson, Carl D. Sanson and Trey Cage.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Twin Oaks Baptist Church 6203 Cherry Ridge Rd., Bastrop, LA, attention Children’s Building Fund.
