Memorial service celebrating the life of Mr. Herman Joseph Trichel of West Monroe, LA will be held at 3:00pm, Sunday, July 12, 2020 in the chapel of Griffin Funeral Home with Bro. Jason Beard officiating.
Family will receive friends for visitation, 2pm until time of service at the funeral home.

Herman served as a Seaman in the United States Navy for 4 years. He retired from General Motors after 32 years, he also drove for Mayo Tours and later became a school bus driver for the Ouachita Parish School System. He was a member of New Hope Worship. His greatest joy was his grandchildren and one adopted by heart, Samuel Holmes.

Herman was born March 12, 1946 and passed from this life July 9, 2020 at the age of 74.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Alton and Isabelle Trichel, and brother, Alton Trichel, Jr.

Those left to cherish his memories include his wife of 52 years, Jerry Trichel; daughter, Tina Louise Curry and husband David; son, Michael Trichel; sister, Bessie Louise Johnson and husband Roy; three grandsons, David Miller and wife Sarah, Jonathan Newsom, Nathan Newsom; also survived by a host of extended family and friends.
