Obituary for Helen "Recie" Sullivan
Funeral services for Ms. Helen “Recie” Sullivan of West Monroe, LA will be 11:00AM Monday, May 17, 2021 in the chapel of Griffin Funeral Home West Monroe with Bro. Lloyd Tolbird officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Calhoun, LA under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 9:30AM until time of service Monday at the funeral home.
Recie was born October 23, 1958 in West Monroe, LA and passed from this earth on May 12, 2021 at her residence in West Monroe at the age of 62. She was a sweet and gentle soul who devoted her life to her husband, children, and grandchildren who lovingly called her “Nana”. Her big smile and laugh will always be remembered by her friends and family. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her and knew her.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Tony Sullivan; her parents, H.G & Frances Hudson; her brother, Lew Hudson; and her sister, Joanna Faulkner.
She is survived by her children, Tony Sullivan Jr., Dustin Sullivan and wife, Lakiesha, Crystal Pardon, Matthew Sullivan and wife, Cortney; her grandchildren, Jacob Sullivan, Samuel Sassin, Shala and Daisy Sullivan, Madelyn and Madison Ellington, Victoria Worthman, Katy Brook Pardon, and Remi and Saige Sullivan; her brother, Ben Hudson; her niece, Shelly Hudson and son, Jett Hudson; her nephew, Chris Whitlock and wife, Jennie; also survived by a host of extended family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Cody Yates, Chris Whitlock, Dylan Caples, Samuel Sassin. Honorary pallbearer will be her son, Tony Sullivan, Jr.
