Funeral Services for Ms. Hazel Earline Evans Martin of Pioneer, LA will be 2:00PM Wednesday, March 24, 2021 in the chapel of Griffin Funeral Home West Monroe with Bro. Larry Eubanks and Kenny Harris officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park in Monroe, LA under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5:00PM until 8:00PM Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at the funeral home.
Ms. Martin was born December 17, 1939 in Winnfield, LA and went to be with our Lord on March 19, 2021 at her residence in Pioneer, LA at the age of 81 after a brief battle with cancer.
She is preceded in death by her life partner and friend for many years, Dave Gullett; her first husband and father of her children, Ira Wayne Martin; her parents, Henry Marion Evans and Nobie Ada Taylor, from Winnfield; one daughter, Becky Ann Ketchell; and her siblings, David Clinton Evans and Dorothy Laverne Evans Walker.
Survivors include her son, Danny Wayne Martin and wife, Joanie of Goodwill; her grandchildren, Kristy Martin Ashley and husband, Tommy of Rocky Branch, Jenni Ketchell Bulloch and husband, Seth of Swartz, and Jeffrey Daniel Martin and wife, Amber of LaGrange, GA; her great-grandchildren, Logan Griffin, Catelin Martin, Wesley Martin, Colton Bulloch and Caden Bulloch; step-grandchildren, Lance, Brandi, Jeremy, Christina and Caleb; Step great-grandchildren, Ryan, David, Noah, Jonah, Lee, Skye, Gabe and Asher; her son-in-law, Mark Ketchell of Swartz; former daughter-in-law, Rhonda Gail Thornhill of Rocky Branch; also survived by a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Pallbearers will be Kenny Harris, Teddy Guidry, Robert Linder, Jason Lenard, David Walker and Jared Walker.
