Funeral service celebrating the life of Ms. Gloria Jean Bearden will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, March 3, 2021 in the chapel of Griffin Funeral Home, 911 Warren Drive, West Monroe with Michael Holmes officiating. Interment will follow at Luna Assembly of God Cemetery. Family will receive friends for visitation Tuesday, March 2, 2021 from 5pm-7pm at the funeral home.

Ms. Gloria, 89, of West Monroe, LA was born on September 5, 1931 and passed from this life on March 1, 2021. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She was a member of Segal Assembly of God.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Delton Carruth and brothers, Ronald McManus and Wallace McManus.

Those left to cherish her memories include her children, Linda Meseke of West Monroe, LA, Sandy (Nathan) Oliver of Baskin, LA, Teddy Glen (Kathleen) Bearden of Marshall, TX; brothers, Royce McManus of Haughton, LA and Charles McManus of Monroe, LA.

Also left to cherish her memories include eight grandchildren, Nicole Laffoon, Jamie Bearden, Ryan Bearden, Jerry Bearden, Mitchell Bearden, Lynn Gibson, Daniel Bearden, Travis Bearden; three great grandchildren, Devon Sturgois, Cody Bearden, and Mandy Mercer, Kylie Bearden, Sierra Bearden, and a host of extended family and friends.
