Obituary for George Washington Wood
Graveside service for George Washington Wood will be held at a later date, under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home.
George was born February 22, 1946 and passed from this life December 19, 2020 at the age of 74.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Geraldine Price and Herbert S. Wood; step mother, Alice Wood; three brothers, Max, David, and Billy Wood.
Survivors include three sisters, Carolyn Peterson, Peggy Hill, and Sheila Barbre, and sister in law, Marcia Wood.
He delighted in getting together with family especially during the holidays. We will miss him very much.
George moved from Arkansas to Great Falls Montana many years ago where he enjoyed his work, friends, and travel. He traveled sometimes by train around the US enjoying the sights to Canada and other countries but his favorite and most recent trip was to Europe in 2005 and liked it so much that he returned on a different route in 2006.
