Mr. Parham was a Vietnam Veteran who passed away from cancer and other conditions that were due to his service for his country. A life long resident
of Ouachita Parish. He attended NLU and was a member of the Sigma Tau gamma Fraternity. He enlisted into the U.S. Marine Corp and proudly serve his country in the Vietnam War. Before the war, he was an outgoing, charismatic handsome man who was outspoken. He had a fondness for cars , sports (LSU and Saints) and
a cold Budweiser. He returned from the war different both mentally and emotionally. Throughout it all, he still remained a soft, gentle and kind soul who was hardworking and provided for his family, both blood and chosen family. He had a way of showing his love because he believed actions spoke louder
than words. He was a man of few words but when he spoke, people knew to listen.

Proud of his truck and children, his demons from the war might have changed his life, but it never changed the love he had for his family and friends.

Mr. Parham was preceded in death by his parents, William Reginald Parham and Sarah Medford Parham.

Survivors include his children, Rhonda Cyr, Tara Parham and Todd Ward; siblings Martha Rodgers and Reggie Parham. Granddaughters, Patience Parham,
