Funeral Services for Mr. Gary DeMoss of Calhoun, LA will be held on April 15th at the Griffin Funeral Home in West Monroe, with Pastor Norman Bryant officiating. Visitation is from 12:00pm to 2:00pm with service to follow. Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Calhoun, LA.
Mr. Gary was born on November 5th 1952 and passed from this life to Eternity on April 11th 2019 at the age of 66. He fought fearlessly after a diagnosis of Glioblastoma in May of 2018. He was the owner of All Season’s A/C & Heating of Monroe, LA. He served in the United States Air Force and United States Navy. He served many years as a church member in the Film Ministry reaching many prisoners to the gospel of Christ. He enjoyed spending most of his time with his beloved family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his father, Joe LaVan DeMoss. Survivors include his wife of 44 years Sherry DeMoss of Calhoun; his daughters Carrie Skains and husband, Joey of Fort Worth, TX; Joanie Graves and husband Michael of Calhoun, Natalie Hebert and husband Jacob of Calhoun; Misty Strong and husband Timothy of Calhoun. Grandsons: Drake, Blaine, Kaden Kinsler and Reid; Granddaughters: Finely and Italee
Pallbearers will be his son-in-laws and nephews: Michael Graves, Joey Skains, Timothy Strong, Jacob Hebert, Brad DeMoss, Joey DeMoss, and Grandson Drake Graves.
