Funeral services for Mrs. Fairy Marie Hendricks will be held at 12:30PM, Saturday, August 6, 2022, at Griffin Funeral Home West Monroe, LA with Pastor Johnny Hunt officiating. Family will accept friends for visitation from 11:00AM until the time of the service at Griffin Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Hasley Cemetery in West Monroe, LA under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home.
Fairy Marie Hendricks was born on April 6, 1927, in Piedmont, OK, and passed from this life on August 3, 2022, at the age of 95. She loved watching the red birds, drinking coffee with her oldest son. And her reason for living was for her kids and grandkids.
She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Ramona Newsom; her loving husband of 75 years, Bob Hendricks Sr.; son, Bob Hendricks Jr. and two sisters, Ruby Carter and Hazel Melot.
Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Fairy Collins, Jeannie Hernandez and husband David, Fred Hendricks, Linda Hunt and Rickey Hendricks and wife Connie; sister, Betty Cypert and husband Claude; sixteen grandchildren; twenty-four great grandchildren; and numerous great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
