Elise McElduff Gray
Born February 5, 1940 and passed peacefully at home, surrounded by family on December 28, 2020.
Preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Jack W. Gray; parents, Gail M. McElduff and Myrtle L. Pilcher McElduff; brother Dayton McElduff; sister, LaDean McElduff Chapman and infant sister Tonda McElduff.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her children, Jackie L. Gray (Diane) of Choudrant, LA and Suzonne Gray Clampit (Jonathan) of Calhoun, LA and grandchildren, Alexia Clampit and Seth Clampit and sister Wanda McElduff of Choudrant, LA.
She was the co-owner of Jack’s Pawn Shop. She enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and beach trips with family and friends. Everyone who knew her, couldn’t help but love her. She had a way of making you feel at home. If you ever stopped by for a visit around mealtime, you were always welcomed to sit down and share a meal. She was well loved by all who knew her and will live forever in the hearts of those closest to her. Although we are saddened that she left us, we celebrate in knowing that she is reunited with her soulmate and we know that we will join the reunion when our time on earth is done.
The family plans to have a memorial at a later date.
