Funeral service celebrating the life of Eddie Mae Spillers of West Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00pm, Friday, February 14, 2020 in the chapel of Griffin Funeral Home, 911 Warren Drive, West Monroe. Interment will follow at Hasley Cemetery, under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home.

Family will receive friends for visitation Thursday from 5:00-8:00pm with another visitation Friday from 1pm until time of service at the funeral home.

Eddie was born August 29, 1933 and passed from this life on February 10, 2020 at the age of 86.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Thadeous Ray and Pearl Cupit; husband, Elzie Buddy Spillers; grandchildren, Mark Murphy and Patsy Stevens, and great-grandchild, Riley Stevens.

Survivors include her son, Junior Spillers and wife Kathy; daughters, Glenda Murphy and husband Cliff, Virginia Stevens, Dorothy Bass and husband Roger, and Martha Phillips; brothers, James Cupit, and Ray cupit; brothers, James Cupit, and Ray Cupit; grandchildren, Jerry Murphy and wife Jenny, Chip Stevens and wife Karen, Aleysia Freeman and husband Jonathan, Tracy Bass, Roger Bass and wife Angel, Ashley Spillers, Justin Spillers and wife Heather, Lindsay Spillers; great-grandchildren, Kyle Murphy, Zach Murphy, Alayna Murphy, Dash Murphy, Aspen Murphy, Meila Knox, Kendell Stevens, Dillon Freeman, Haley Freeman, Madison Freeman, Garrett Bass, Michael Bass, Lily Bass, Aiden Spillers, Justin Jr. Spillers, Zachary Spillers, Camdyn Spillers; also survived by a host of extended family and friends.
