Memorial services for Mr. Duane Lee Stodghill will be held at 3:00PM, Sunday, October 23, 2022, at Griffin Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA. Family will accept friends from 2:00Pm until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Duane was born on February 27, 1936, in Montrose, AR, and passed from this life on October 15, 2022, in Monroe, LA, at the age of 86. He was a farmer and loved to spend time with his family and friends. He loved to tell stories of growing up in Montrose, AR.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Wilmeta Stodghill; sister, Barbara; brother, Sonny; and his wife of nearly 52 years, Geneva.
Those left to cherish his memories include his daughter, Sherry Martin and husband Jim; son, Curtis Stodghill and wife Lynn; daughter, Melissa Soyring and husband Jeff; sons, John Keene and Dan Keene; daughter, Jennifer Stodghill.
Also left to cherish his memories include eleven grandchildren, Christy, April, Charles Duane, Robert, Krystina, Marian, Allison, Frannie, Joseph, Hanna, and Daniel; nineteen great-grandchildren, and a long host of nieces, nephews, and friends he loved like family.
