Obituary for Donna Denise Brister
Funeral services for Donna Denise Brister will be held on Monday, January 23, 2023, at 2:00pm at Griffin Funeral Home in West Monroe with Lance Otwell officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00pm to 2:00pm at Griffin Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Calhoun, LA.
Mrs. Donna Brister was born on January 31, 1967 and passed from this life on January 20, 2023 at the age of 55. Donna was a member of the Caney Lake Baptist Church. Her hobbies include making up new recipes, cooking, gardening and fishing. She was a big supporter of essential oils as she used them on everything. Donna loved giving her opinion as well as advice to anyone. Family meant everything to her and all she wanted in life was for everyone to be together.
She is preceded in death by her sister Dawn Hines.
Those left to cherish her memories include her husband, Lee Brister; son, Michael Chance Kennedy and wife Misty; daughter, Britani Cheri Spillers and husband Kevin Lee; brother, Brad Harper and wife Natalie; sister, Tina Henderson and husband Trent; father, Donald Atkins and wife Celia; mother, Janice Schanks and husband Roger; grandchildren, Moss Bryant Kennedy, Ellie Mae Kennedy, and Benjamin Jasper Lee; nieces and nephews, Peyton LeJeune and husband Spencer, Morgan Harper, Kameron Harper, Mykal Snodgrass and wife Kimberlyn, and Hannah Snodgrass.
Pallbearers will be Mykal Snodgrass, Kameron Harper, Dustin Nolan, Kevin Lee, Landry Adcock, Darius White, and Trent Henderson.
