Obituary for Dona J. Berry
Funeral service celebrating the life of Dona J. Berry of West Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00pm, Monday, February 22, 2021 in the chapel of Griffin Funeral Home, 911 Warren Drive, West Monroe, with Bro. Billy Taylor officiating. Family will receive friends for visitation, 12:00pm until time of service at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery.
Dona was born January 24, 1941 and passed from this life February 13, 2021 at the age of 80.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Luther and Hazel Williams; husband, Eddie Wayne Berry; two sons, Timmy Upchurch and Gary Dewayne Upchurch, and daughter, Maddie Beatrice Upchurch.
Those left to cherish her memories include her children, Billy Upchurch and wife Gloria of California, Tammy Lewis and husband Eric of Eros, Terry Berry of West Monroe, and James Berry and wife Amy of West Monroe; also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of extended family and friends.
