Desiree was born April 5, 1978 and passed from this life March 10, 2021 at the age of 42.
She is preceded in death by Steve Gill; grandmother, Theresa Nell Gentry, and great grandfather, Richard Harry Swaggard.
Those left to cherish her memories include her mother, Kathryn Perry; stepfather, Gene Hightower; daughters, Kristin Day and husband Tyler Joseph, Gracee Gill, Hope Gill, and Faith Gill; sons, Zachary Day and spouse Madison Yelverton, and Kevin Day; brother, John Paul Kelly and wife Heather; two grandchildren, Noah Joseph and Oakley Day; grandmother, Jeanette Kelly; also survived by a host of extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
