Private family memorial services for Mr. Dennis Wayne “Grizz” Sims of Ruston, LA will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home West Monroe.
Mr. Sims was born January 25, 1950 and passed from this life on March 7, 2019 in Ruston, LA at the age of 69. He was employed as a mechanic for the Ouachita Parish Fire Department. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Helen Sims; and one sister, Betty Adcock.
Survivors include his children, Dennis Wayne Sims and wife, Keda of West Monroe, and Amy Sims of Farmerville; three grandchildren, Ethan Sims, Hunter Sims and Isabelle Sims; also survived by a host of extended family and friends.
