I am so, so sorry. I just talked with her in the hospital. She sounded her usual strong, pleasant self. I run into her everywhere I go--, especially the doctors' offices. I am always glad when I do because I have a good conversation to help pass the time. I will really miss her.

My deepest sympathy to the family and friends of Mrs. Douthit for your loss. No doubt she lived a very fulfilling life and you will miss her dearly. I hope you can draw comfort from Gods word, as I have, where He promises us that there is going to be a resurrection and that we can be reunited with our dear loved ones again - right here on the earth. (John 5:28,29; Psalms 37:9,10; jw.org.)

My heart is aching. Mrs. Deloris was a dear friend to my Mom and our family. When I turned 13,she took me to get my ears pierced. That was 40 years ago. I had not seen her for many years since moving to Georgia, but was able to stay in touch with her through social media.
She was a big part of my childhood and I will always cherish my times with her. Sending my love and prayers to her dear family and friends.

Pete and I are so sorry about the passing of this sweet lady. Many memories come to mind; her family was a big part of “the church on Montgomery Street.” To Dale and Gail and that precious family...our thoughts and prayers go out to you.
