Obituary for David Joe "Joe" Henderson Sr.
Funeral services for Mr. David “Joe” Henderson of West Monroe, LA will be held Sunday, March 31, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Bethel Assembly of God Church. Visitation will be held Saturday, March 30, 2019 at the church, from 5 PM until 8PM.
Mr. Henderson was born April 6, 1960 and passed from this life on March 28, 2019 at the age of 58.
Joe was a self-employed builder. He was a member of Bethel Assembly of God Church for 40 years. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Coy Gammage.
He is preceded in death by his parents, John Tucker and Lucile Marie Henderson; sister, Charlotte Stinger.
Those left to cherish his memories include his wife of 40 years and the love of his life, Sherri Henderson; son, David Joe and Christy; two daughters, Tomeka Lashay and Wayne, Tabitha Renee and Justin; five brothers, Edward, Larry, Willie, Donald and Roger; four sisters, Marie, Margie, Juanita, and Nell; mother in law, Florence Miller; thirteen grandchildren, Lily, Lucy, Elisha, Cherie’, Makayla, Madison, Abby, Audrey, Cadience, Izaya, Jacob, Xayden, and Corbin; special friend, Rev. Troy Patrick; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends
Pallbearers will be his five brothers and grandson. Honorary pallbearer will be his son, David Joe.
