My heart has mixed emotions today after hearing my friend left us in West Monroe and took his flight to a home he has been working on for more than 80 years. HE HAS A MANSION! Sad I won’t get that genuine handshake and deep “Praise the Lord” greeting but he is actually preoccupied now IN THE PRESENCE OF THE LORD! I have only known him personally a short time but he and his wife have been friends of our family many years. Bro Boothe, don’t you go wandering off too far from Heaven’s gate because you got a lots of folks to be coming through that gate VERY SOON! Find us a good fishing spot because I want to do some white perch and brim fishing “cane pole” style! Keep that bass voice warmed up because when I get there my ears will be OPEN and I’m gonna cut loose on an old hymn with ya! See ya soon!

I will remember all the good times Daryl an I had fishing together. We also worked together at Georgia pacific paper mill until he retired. We stayed in touch through the years. We still fished a little bit i would call him an say ill be at a certain place getting ready for a tournament he would meet me there to fish. I lost a really good friend but I know he's at a better place than me. All i say is heaven got a great angle. Rest in peace my friend until we meet again.
