Obituary for Darrell Wayne Brinson
Funeral service celebrating the life of Darrell Brinson of Johnson City, TN will be held at 11:00am, Saturday, November 21, 2020 in the chapel of Griffin Funeral Home, 911 Warren Drive, West Monroe.
Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park, under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home.
Family will receive friends for visitation, Friday, November 20, 2020 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at the funeral home.
Darrell was born May 17, 1972 and passed from this life November 13, 2020 at the age of 48.
He loved to run marathons and compete in triathlons. He read his bible regularly and would quote scriptures. He loved to race his Chevelle and watch Nascar racing. He loved being outdoors and enjoyed building on his land in Tennessee and spending weekends there with his children. He was creative and welded art made with metal tools.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Golman Melvon and Mary Inzina Day; paternal grandparents, Willie Joe Brinson and Ruby Jean Jernigan Brinson; sister, Christina Ann Brinson Poulin.
Those left to cherish his memories include his parents, Bobby Joe and Patricia Day Brinson; daughter, Brittany Nicole Brinson; sons, Colin Cade Brinson, and Cody Brinson; nephews, Gerald Joseph Poulin, and Jacob Alexander Poulin; also survived by a host of extended family and friends.
Pallbearers include Austin Durbyn, Roy Walton, Jr., Billy Clem, Joe Day, Paul Day, and Peevy Harvey.
