Ginger, I know how your heart hurts for Danny - your little brother. I am so sorry that I have not been physically or mentally able to travel this last year with you. We have traveled many miles together over these last 40+ years. The 28th of this month will be one year for our families loss.
I remember all the stories that you told over the years about Danny and how much you loved him and what a great time y’all had living in different states but always talking almost every day from somewhere in the world - being sure Billy didn’t see the phone bills. My deepest sympathy and heart ache for you, your mother, Nate and Nick.
I know you and the boys have a journey ahead of you and I’m so glad you have each other I can’t say it’s an easy journey- but it will be a journey of love with the boys. Your loving friends! June and Chet

Dan was my best guy friend for over 30 year's. I met him and Crindell at the ballpark with our boy's playing ball..We immediately became like family and have been there for each other ever since. Dan and I were so close, I could tell him anything, we'd talk for hour's on the phone, like best buddies do. I am going to miss him so very much, his jokes, his crazy antic's that would get me going , and his advice..so many times we went and did double matinee's and I will never be able to go to a theater without thinking of him, the flea market's, comforting him after the loss of Crindell, him comforting me after the loss of my dog's or other troubles.... I have so many pic's of our incredible friendship and the fishing, the boating, the barge que's, the summer we spent in the pool everyday and grilled steaks, the vacation's we spent with our families. To not have him here is devastating for me, but I am happy he did not suffer and he is with his beloved Crindell now..I will miss him for the rest of my life..always tell people how much you love them and how grateful you are to have them in your life. I am so happy I had the chance to tell Dan that before he passed and before his stroke...I will never forget this incredible human who was MY FRIEND and made my life so much richer in meaning....I love you, Dan, it's time for you to fly....
