Obituary for Curtis Michael Wilson

Funeral services for Mr. Curtis Michael Wilson of Kelly, LA will be held, 3:00pm, at Old Bethel Baptist Church in Grayson, LA with Bro. Jimmy Goodman and Bro. CR Martin officiating.

Interment will follow at Little Star Cemetery in Grayson, LA under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held Saturday, June 22, 2019 from 5:00-8:00pm at the church.

Curtis was born January 11, 1948 to the union Joseph Curtis Wilson and Univ Lawrence Wilson of Joyce, Louisiana; and went home to be with the Lord on June 20, 2019 at his home in Kelly, Louisiana at the age of 71.
Curtis was a member of Outreach Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding motorcycles and loved his family beyond measure. A hardworking man, Curtis operated several businesses during his lifetime, including Wilson’s Texaco in Olla and Grayson, and Wilson’s Trucking; he also worked on pipeline, railroad, and many other endeavors; whatever it took to take care of his family.

Curtis is Preceded in death by his parents; in-laws, Bonnie and Jack Bratton; and infant daughter, Sonya Denis Wilson.
Serving as pallbearers are David Moss, Peyton Wilson, Tanner Wilson, Lucas Parham, Jacob Martin, Noah Parham, and Ray Bratton. Honorary Pallbearers are David Bratton, Aubrey Bratton, TJ Warner, Colby Myles, Evan Wilson, and Darrell Bratton.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Betty Bratton Wilson, and five children, Eddie Dunn (Cathy), James Wilson (Sheila), Deanna Wilson Roberts (Joey), Chris Wilson (Paula), and Tiffany Wilson Parham (Craig); twelve grandchildren, Evan Wilson (Jackie), Ashton Warner (TJ), Lucas Parham (Anna), Farren Myles (Colby), Makayla Dunn, Tanner Wilson (Emma), Keeley Parharm, Peyton Wilson, Noah Parham, Mattie Parham, Courtney Martinez, Kyle Nealy, and Cole Nealy; five great-grandchildren, EJ Wilson, Jordyn Wilson, Lexi Myles, Addalynn Warner, and Greysen Warner. Two sisters, Sue Richardson (MC), Brenda Martin (Tommy), and one brother, Bobby Joe Wilson and furbaby, Lady and a host of nieces and nephews.
